Welcome Park Rats to the new home of Local Detroit Artists' Ray Street Park! Your one stop portal to everything RSP. Ray Street Park has been around for over a decade with close ties to southeast Michigan in the Detroit and surrounding area's. Thier distinct sound sets them apart from other bands as well as thier reputation for being one of Detroit's hardest working bands.
In 2004, RSP became a finalist in the Hard Rock Cafe/Rolling Rock Battle Of The Bands and was nominated for "Outstanding Live Performance" at the Detroit Music Awards. 2005 brought them nominations for "Outstanding Live Performance" and "Outstanding Hard Rock/Metal Band at the DMA's.
In 2008, RSP opened a day of MAYHEM on the Jager stage at the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhemfest in front of thousands proving that no matter where they play or who they play in front of, RSP shows up and delivers.
Winding down the release of 2007s' King Of Everything cd, RSP is currently back in the studio laying down tracks for a new cd due out in late 2009, early 2010.
